Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract /n/n/n/n Our client, a large social services agency in the Bronx, is seeking an RN to work with the developmentally disabled population. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate care in a supportive environment. This is a temp to perm role! If you're an RN looking to make a meaningful impact, apply today! /n/n/n/n Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 9am - 4:30pm. /n - Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, coordinating and implementing healthcare services for assigned residences. /n - Develop and revise individualized health care plans in collaboration with physicians and the team. /n - Provide staff training on medical administration, infection control, first aid, and other necessary health care topics. /n - Manage communicable diseases and infections, ensuring proper protocols and staff training. /n - Monitor and ensure proper medication administration, including supervising AMAP certified staff and overseeing prescribed medication. /n - Schedule and track medical appointments, ensuring follow-up and implementing physician recommendations. /n - Supervise and train Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and less experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) on best practices and agency policies. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of nursing experience working directly with OPWDD patients. /n - Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
