ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York. Schedule Shifts are available for 11.5 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide high acuity care in both the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). The role involves managing patients with critical heart conditions, including STEMI cases. Nurses will typically work in a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive and high-quality nursing care in the ICU. Monitor critically ill patients and respond swiftly to changes in condition. Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in critical care settings is preferred. Previous travel nursing experience is required.
