Job Description First Connect Health is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Elmhurst, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 35 hours per week - Shift: 7 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered (Nights) Elmhurst, NY Schedule - Shift: 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (Nights) - Days per Week: 5 (35 hrs/week) - Weekends & Holidays: Required (alternating) - Interviews: Onsite only (no virtual options) Responsibilities - Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. - Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. - Verify patient identification and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. - Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to evaluate imaging results. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EPIC system. - Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times. Requirements Experience: - Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Registered Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care setting. Education: - Completion of an accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (or equivalent Military training).
