Job Title: Mammogram Technician Job Type: Per Diem Location: Bronx, NY Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care. ? Responsibilities - Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment - Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures - Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results - ?? Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment - Collaborate with radiologists for diagnostic evaluation of mammograms - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines - Provide patient education regarding the mammography process Qualifications - ?? Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist - ?? Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results - ?? Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography - ?? Familiarity with other imaging modalities (CT, PET scan, X-ray) - ?? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings - ?? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation - ??
