Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a radiology technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Long Island City, NY. Job Requirements: /n - Day Shfit. /n - 8AM-4PM. /n - Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. /n - Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure. /n - Ability to explain procedures to patients. /n - Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - At least one year of General Radiology Technologist experience is required. /n - Graduate of an accredited radiology program. /n - ARRT certified. /n - BLS certification from the AHA. /n - 2 years of experience required N.Y.
