Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pharmacist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking an inpatient registered pharmacist for a prestigious health system located in NYC. Job Function: /n - Day Shift, Evening Shift and Night Shift. /n - 4x10: 7:30am - 4pm./3:30pm-11:30pm/ 10pm-8am. /n - Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner. /n /n - Provide pharmacological information and support to the multidisciplinary healthcare team. /n /n - Monitor patient drug therapies and recommend adjustments based on clinical guidelines and patient-specific factors. /n /n - Resolve questions related to formulary and non-formulary medications in accordance with established policies and procedures. /n /n - Offer dosing and therapeutic recommendations that reflect patient age and pharmacokinetic considerations. /n /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of Inpatient exp. required. /n - NYS Licensed. /n - EPIC and Pyxis experience required. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
