Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Brooklyn, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $973 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 7 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified Nursing Attendant Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Evening shifts needed, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: No prior experience needed License: Client Certification as a Nursing Attendant Certifications: None required Must-Have: - Ability to work in varied environments with dust, noise, etc. - Capability to hear, talk, walk, stand, bend, and stretch. - Ability to read, write, and interpret documents. - Ability to sit for long periods to perform job functions. - Capacity to stand for long periods at patient bedside and/or procedural areas. - Effective communication skills with patients and co-workers. - Physical ability to handle reasonably heavy weights across distances. - Training in and knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to hazardous waste and materials. Description: Provides direct patient care and related support. Performs other related duties. Provides routine personal care to patients in a timely, safe, and effective manner. Care includes bathing, shaving, brushing teeth, dressing patients, and attending to their personal care needs. Prepares patients for meals and assists with feeding as necessary. Empties bedpans and collects urine and other specimens. Transfers patients to and from bed and/or chair using one-person and two-person transfers, as well as a Hoyer lift. Takes accurate vital signs, temperatures, pulse, and respirations. Records all necessary information according to policy and procedure. Performs range of motion exercises using proper techniques. Assists patients in walking and transporting them by wheelchair or stretcher. Performs other related duties as assigned. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue.
