Job Description:
Seeking multiple IME (Independent Medical Examination) providers
to cover New York State, including the five boroughs and Long
Island for Neurology Key Details: - No patient contact: IME exams
involve observation and evaluation only ? no touching or treatment
of the patient. - Case review: Providers must review case logs
prior to insurance claims. - Coverage: Need multiple providers to
ensure adequate coverage across NYS, focusing on the five boroughs
and Long Island. - Certification: Workers' Compensation
certification is required. - Credentialing: Providers must complete
the COI credentialing process. ( Takes a few days) - Malpractice:
Coverage for malpractice is provided. Role Description: - Perform
expert witness?style examinations (no treatment, no continuity of
care, low liability). - No patient?provider relationship is
established ? this significantly reduces liability. - Ancillary
staff and scribes assist with report writing and clinical workflow.
