records Description: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered
Professional Nurse who provides safe and competent quality care to
a designated group of patients and their significant others.
Delivers patient care by applying the nursing process based on
theory, research, evidence-based practice, and organizational
nursing standards. Assesses and evaluates patient care needs while
applying critical thinking skills in patient care management.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop,
implement, and evaluate the plan of care. Prioritizes all aspects
of patient care including teaching, rounding, coaching, and
planning after hospital care, delegating to others as appropriate.
Educates patients and caregivers about their plan of care,
transition of care, health promotion, and disease prevention.

Team. Manages assignments according to the Care Delivery Model,
demonstrating effective allocation of resources. Role models the

aspects of care. Establishes and maintains a therapeutic
relationship with patients and families. Initiates service recovery
for patients and families with concerns and escalates as needed.

Demonstrates crucial clinical skills and knowledge related to
quality and safety in the patient population served. Implements
