Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Nurse
Manager for a 13 week travel assignment in Midwood, NY As a member

Registered Nurse in a leadership role Current Valid RN license in
compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification
(AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Summary: The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing and
coordinating nursing activities across various clinical settings.
This role encompasses managing nursing staff, ensuring quality
patient care, implementing policies and procedures, and
collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high
standards of healthcare delivery. The position requires strong
leadership skills, clinical expertise, critical thinking abilities,

Work Functions: Oversees and directs nursing staff in the delivery
of patient care, ensuring adherence to hospital policies,
procedures, and regulatory standards Develops and implements staff
schedules, assigns duties, and evaluates staff performance Provides
clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting
professional growth and development Collaborate with physicians and
other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and
resolve complex clinical issues Monitors and evaluates the quality
of patient care, implementing improvements as necessary Manages
resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and supplies
Responds to and manages emergency situations, ensuring appropriate
protocols are followed Participates in the development and
implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation
standards Facilitates effective communication between nursing
staff, patients, families, and other healthcare team members
Addresses and resolves patient and family concerns related to
nursing care Promotes a culture of safety and continuous quality
improvement within the nursing department Participates in budgeting
and financial management for the nursing unit Maintains
confidentiality of patients and staff information Perform other
duties as assigned within the scope of practice Adhere to hospital
safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory
standards Required Essential Skills: Critical thinking, service
excellence and good interpersonal communication skills The ability
to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal
instructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities -
Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment
(50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending Interpersonal Skills - To
work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and
ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation,
pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with
procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements -
Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public,
customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to
work under close supervision occasionally as well as working
without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend
with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous
