Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Post Partum - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Postpartum / Mother–Baby Registered Nurse – Brooklyn, NY Overview A Brooklyn?based hospital is seeking experienced Postpartum / Mother–Baby Registered Nurses to join its Maternal–Child Health team. This role focuses on providing high?quality, family?centered care to postpartum patients and newborns in a fast?paced, supportive environment. Two positions are available. Location Brooklyn, New York Assignment Details - Start Date: January 26, 2026 - Hours per Week: 34.5 - Hours per Day: 11.5 - Schedule: - Three 11.5?hour shifts per week - 08:30 AM – 8:00 PM - Alternating weekends - Positions Available: 2 Job Title RN – Postpartum / Mother–Baby (000539) Role Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns - Support maternal recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and family education - Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed - Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation - Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams - Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and quality standards Required Skills & Experience - Two years of Maternal & Child Health experience - Two years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience - Two years of conscious sedation experience - Strong communication, patient?education, and assessment skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team Preferred Skills - None specified About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
