Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS is seeking Certified Surgical Tech for a local contract at hospital in NY. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 5x8:11am-7pm. - Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. - Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and anticipating needs. - Ensure proper sterilization, handling, and maintenance of surgical tools and equipment. - Verify patient identity, procedure details, and ensure adherence to safety and infection-control protocols. - Handle specimens, manage surgical counts, and document all intraoperative activities accurately. Job Requirements: - 2 years of CST RN experience is required. - BLS,, certifications from the American Heart Association are required. - EPIC experience preferred.
