Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a radiology technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Long Island City, NY. Job Requirements: - Day Shfit. - 8AM-4PM. - Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. - Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure. - Ability to explain procedures to patients. - Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. Job Requirements: - At least one year of General Radiology Technologist experience is required. - Graduate of an accredited radiology program. - ARRT certified. - BLS certification from the AHA. - 2 years of experience required N.Y. State Dept. of Health.
