Soloh Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for
a local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description
& Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours -
Employment Type: Local Contract SCOPE OF ROLE: The RN will complete
medical assessments and brief histories on all clients admitted to
the program and will monitor and coordinate follow-up care as
directed by Program Director. II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Complete screening, assessments and Care of
every client seeking SCSC services (Adults/Youth/Children) -
Evaluate severity of withdrawal symptoms using established
screening tools. (If appropriate to Substance Use clients) -
Coordinate delivery and reception of medications with pharmacy -
Document all medications received and coordinate management of the
meds while client is at SCSC). - Observe self-administration of
medications - Monitor withdrawal symptoms during detoxification
according to established protocols. - Refer for required medical
services as appropriate (Internal & External) - Provide education
and consultation to individual clients and/or groups on their
health needs. - Assure clients' compliance with prescribe medical
regimen. - Complete timely and accurate documentation on medical
services rendered. - Complete all clinical documentation in EHR. -
File all documents in the clients' charts upon completion. - Manage
inventory of medical supplies and coordinate replenishment with
Office Manager. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Masters in
Nursing preferred, Bachelor's required, with NYS RN license -
Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and chemical dependency
preferred. - Ability to work independently and within a team. -
Excellent written and verbal communication - Assessment and case
management - Bilingual (Spanish/English) speaking preferred -
