Position in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation We are seeking a
board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist to join our Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation team at a prominent hospital in New
York City. The selected candidate will be responsible for
performing evaluations, developing rehabilitation plans, conducting
electrodiagnostic and injection procedures, and overseeing
multidisciplinary care teams. This role offers a competitive salary

Physiatrist to join our team. The hospital serves as the largest
healthcare facility in Central Harlem and is the sole Safety Net
Hospital in Northern Manhattan. It is recognized for its excellence

Imaging, and Sexual Assault Forensics, and continues to provide

capability. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with a
diverse team, including physiatrists, physical and occupational
therapists, speech therapists, clerical staff, and nursing
personnel. Conduct thorough evaluations and create tailored
rehabilitation programs. Provide care for patients in both
outpatient and inpatient settings. Lead and coordinate a team of
therapy and clinical professionals to achieve optimal patient
outcomes. Perform electrodiagnostic studies, Botox injections,
joint/trigger point injections, and hyaluronic acid injections.
Maintain a regular schedule of weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM,
with no weekend or on-call duties. Qualifications: Board
Certification or Eligibility in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. Possession of an active or eligible New York State
medical license. Preferred experience in pediatric rehabilitation,
wheelchair clinics, orthotic and prosthetic clinics, and
acupuncture. Preferred proficiency in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Compensation and Benefits: Annual Base Salary: $222,000* (for board
eligible); $227,000* (for board certified), based on a 40-hour work
week. Additional compensation may be available for extra call or
sessional/per diem hours. The estimated total annual compensation
package is approximately $339,720 (for board eligible) and $345,220
(for board certified), which includes base salary, 401(k)
contributions, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors outlined
below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional
sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520. Potential
bonus of up to $40,000 (based on the previous year’s average),
contingent upon meeting quality and productivity benchmarks. 401(k)
Company Contribution (subject to IRS limits): Employees are
immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings,
with no employee match required. After one year of service,
employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base
earnings, with no employee match required. Annual Continuing
Medical Education (CME) reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time
Off (PTO) including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and CME days.
Comprehensive Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Premium
plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) at
no cost to you. Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and
AD&D coverage options are available for you and your family.
Loan Forgiveness: This position may qualify for loan forgiveness
through specific state or federal programs. Medical Malpractice
Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to
the employee. Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending
Accounts (FSAs). Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting
expenses. Visa sponsorship may be available for this position. Our
