Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Our client is looking to hire a Mammography Tech to join their team at a medical center in New York. This is a temp-to-perm role, and they are open to new grads! Job Function: - Day Shift or Night Shift. - 5x8 or 4x10. - Operate mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to company policies and protocols. - Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care. - Use equipment adjustments (compression, exposure modes, filters, etc.) to produce optimal images. - Monitor patient well-being during exams, addressing discomfort or medical concerns as needed. - Guide patients through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns. Job Requirements: - 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist. - ARRT (R)(M) certification required. - Active state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology. - BLS certification required. - Active New York State Department of Health (DOH) license.
