Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Flushing, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,345 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 8 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ventilator management and telemetry experience. Minimum of two years of experience on a Med-Surg, Progressive Care, and/or Stepdown unit in a hospital setting. License: Current RN license Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - BSN - Travel experience or local experience - Level 1 Trauma experience - 2 years of experience in specialty in the last 3 years - Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset - COVID and flu vaccination prior to start date (no declinations) Description: Each applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of ventilator management and telemetry experience. Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience on a Med-Surg, Progressive Care, and/or Stepdown unit in a hospital setting. Interviews will include a voice advantage interview and a screening/interview with the nurse manager. Weekly start dates are available, and an average of 4-6 weeks is needed to complete compliance. Shift times are from 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM. Total number of hours per week is 34.5. There is no call requirement. Applicants should expect to work every other weekend. Floating to areas within acuity is required. Candidates must be COVID and flu vaccinated prior to the start date, with no declinations allowed. Scrubs should be navy bottoms with a white top or all white. Navy bottoms should be paired with dark shoes, while all white should be worn with white shoes.
