Registered Nurse (RN) | Rehab Location: New York City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,090 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in New York City, New York, 10025! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: - Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation experience required. - 2 years of nursing experience preferred. - Experience with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries required. - Med-Surg experience required. - Travel experience preferred but not required for Per Diem positions. - Experience with electronic health record systems highly preferred. License: - Client RN License required. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. - Associate degree in nursing considered only with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program. Description: Delivers patient care by incorporating the tenets of a professional practice model of relationship-centered care. Applies the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical thinking skills in patient care management. Integrates relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development and evaluation of the plan of care. Prioritizes patient care, including education, and delegates appropriately. Educates patients and caregivers about their plan of care, health promotion, and disease prevention. Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, families, and team members. Manages assignments within the designated care delivery model efficiently. Conducts purposeful hourly rounding on assigned patients. Practices safe and efficient patient-centered care and identifies barriers to improvement.
