Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Level III for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• 13-week assignment duration /n• Minimum 34.5 hours guaranteed per week /n• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed /n• BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school required /n• New York State RN license required (or by reciprocity) /n• Minimum 3 years ICU experience required /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, and De-escalation certification /n• Preferred certifications: CCRN and TNCC /n• Must wear royal blue scrubs /n• Manage patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and use of Hemosphere Flotrac /n• Care for trauma patients of varying severities /n• Perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS scales /n• Provide care for patients receiving hypothermia treatment /n• Manage pleurevac chest tube drainage systems /n• Experience with Allscript EMR system required /n• Proficiency with PCA pump operation /n• Strict adherence to isolation precautions and hand hygiene protocols required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services for patients with complex medical conditions and trauma cases.
