Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Intermediate Care for a local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Immediate Opening for an RN in NY in a residential facility for the Developmentally Disabled Population. This position will be full time and top pay is being offered! /n Job Function: /n - Day Shift or Night Shift. /n - Provides medical oversight and medical assessment of all people to ensure their safety and well- being /n - Provide continuous training and support to the staff in order for them to efficiently meet each person’s medical needs /n - Administer first aid as needed or instruct staff on necessary medical interventions /n - Reviews all medical records and paperwork, including annual physicals and medical visit appointments, on a regular basis and following doctor’s orders as prescribed /n - Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure all medical concerns are addressed /n - Acts as a liaison with the family, residences and MD to coordinate care /n - Ensure that all medical documentation is comprehensive and conforms with agency policies and procedures and is maintained in the person’s medical chart /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Registered Nurse in New York. /n - BLS. /n - Experience with IDD population. /n - Acute and Nursing Home Experience preferred. /n - OPWDD experience preferred. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
