Job Description Job Description Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum (PP) Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) - PP to provide postpartum care on a per diem basis . Responsibilities: Assess the physical and emotional needs of new mothers and their newborn Provide education and support to new mothers on infant feeding, care, and mother-baby bonding Monitor maternal and newborn vital signs and assist with any medical concerns Facilitate communication and coordination between the mother, family, and healthcare team Assist with medical procedures and treatments as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Provide a safe and comfortable environment for new mothers and their families Qualifications: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Minimum of 2 years of PP experience or similar setting. Strong familiarity with high volume maternity ward setting Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to stay calm and prioritize tasks in emergency situations .
