Registered Nurse (RN) | Home Health Location: New York City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,281 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 7 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Adult Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting, most recent experience should be within the past year. License: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS (Queens only) Must-Have: - Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution - Physical assessment skills - Medication administration experience - Wound care and infection control knowledge - IV therapy skills - Post-operative care experience - Patient education expertise - Telemetry monitoring knowledge Description: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Evaluate medical information and provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed and interpret and record measurements. Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner. Collaborate on discharge planning with the healthcare team. Answer questions and educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care. Maintain and update patient files, medical charts, and health records. Adhere to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols. Preferred skills include EPIC EMR experience. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
