A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. People First in Nyack Local Team Collaboration: At Montefiore Nyack Hospital, our strong, collaborative team includes 4 Intensivists and 2 Critical Care APPs. Within the hospital, we work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth care transitions. We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team. As an award-winning Certified Stroke Center, Nyack Hospital has dedicated specialists and resources to expedite care for stroke patients. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine Active New York License and DEA Authorized to work in the United States Practice in the Heart of the Community Modified Block Scheduling: 12-hour day shift and 12-hour night shift model Average of 15 shifts per month Key Responsibilities: Lead team of critical care professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to ICU patients as part of the Intensivist team in a 391-bed, Level III trauma center. Value teamwork as part of the larger multi-disciplinary team.
