Our partnered specialist visits the patient at the nursing home and develops a comprehensive plan of care with the nursing staff. Duties/Responsibilities: Travel to each assigned nursing facility, weekly Assess patient and make recommendations on plan of care Work closely with nursing staff and facility administration Utilize facility formulary and follow facility protocols Document patient encounter in our EHR to ensure timely reporting Discuss treatments and goals with PCP and family members Procedures – Debridement’s, I & D’s, Cauterization, NPWT, etc. Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends No on-call Requirements Unrestricted Medical License in state of practice DEA Must pass state and federal background checks Basic EHR knowledge Team player Strong communication skills 1 year wound care experience Wound Care Certification (preferred) Benefits Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance No weekends No on-call No nights Part-time or full-time options Competitive compensation Schedule tailored to your availability Continuing education Full malpractice coverage
