The center offers a full spectrum of services including primary medical care, behavioral health, dental care, a full-service pharmacy, and more. Patients are offered a true “medical home” – a place where they can access all their healthcare needs, supported by clinical staff who know them by name. Every day, the care team demonstrates the impact that quality, compassionate, and dignified care can have on individual lives. The Adult Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced PA to join the team. This role provides comprehensive primary health care, including health promotion and disease prevention, while collaborating with physicians and referring patients to specialists as appropriate. Key Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program - Valid State of Connecticut licensure - DEA and state narcotic registration (or eligibility to obtain) - Strong knowledge of Physician Assistant theory and practice, with a proven record of delivering high-quality, comprehensive clinical care - Ability to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population - Experience with medical history-taking, condition assessment, and interpretation of findings - Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with proven success engaging patients and peers - Ability to maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner - Comfort with electronic health records and clinical systems - Commitment to evidence-based clinical decision-making and adherence to quality measures - 1–2 years’ experience in ambulatory or urgent care settings is preferred Additional Requirements: - Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen Benefits Include: - NHSC Loan Repayment Program eligibility - Paid malpractice insurance and CME - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with up to 4% employer match - Generous paid time off and 9 paid holidays - Competitive pay - Employer-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability - Employee Assistance Program - Worker’s compensation - Various leave programs (bereavement, military, maternity, and more) ZRi4To Apply for this Job Click Here
