Registered Nurse (RN) | Electrophysiology Lab Location: Brooklyn, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,866 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: EP Lab Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: NY license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - EPIC documentation experience required - Experience with 1:4 patient ratios Description: Seeking an experienced EP Lab RN for an 8-week contract. This is a mixed procedural unit supporting cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology, with a shared prep and recovery area. The position does not require weekends. Schedule is 3 twelve-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. The average daily census is 7, with 2 rooms and 12 beds. Patient population consists of adults, with a day shift ratio of 1:4. Required clinical skills include: - Administration and monitoring of procedural sedation - Competency in medication management, including antiarrhythmics and IV vasopressors - Care and maintenance of IV lines and implanted ports - Obtaining and interpreting 12 lead ECGs - Perform sheath removal and monitoring Experience in teaching hospitals is preferred but not mandatory. First-time travelers are accepted. Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale knowledge is a plus. Candidates should have experience in infection prevention and isolation precautions. Able to provide pre- and post-procedure care and support for various cardiac procedures. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
