Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician 2026 graduates welcome to apply Join the Department of Pediatrics at a new Pediatric Subspecialty Center Outpatient-only position Hospital-employed role Work alongside a pediatric residency program Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No call responsibilities Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required H1 visa candidates welcome EMR: AllScripts Key Responsibilities Evaluation and Diagnosis Conduct comprehensive developmental and behavioral evaluations Diagnose developmental delays, learning disorders such as dyslexia and ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders Treatment Planning and Management Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating behavioral therapy, educational support, and medication management when appropriate Family Counseling Provide guidance and support to families to help them understand developmental challenges and navigate available resources Collaboration and Advocacy Work closely with schools, therapists (occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy), and other specialists to coordinate patient care Common Conditions Managed Developmental delays affecting speech, language, motor, or cognitive skills Neurodevelopmental disorders such as fetal alcohol spectrum disorders Behavioral conditions including ADHD, oppositional-defiant disorder, anxiety, and depression Learning disorders including dyslexia and math disorders Regulatory and developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities Habit and regulatory concerns such as tics, Tourette syndrome, sleep disorders, and severe feeding issues Qualifications MD or DO degree Completion of a pediatric residency Fellowship training in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics with subspecialty training Organization Information Single-site practice location Competitive annual base salary: $210,000–$240,000 $1,500 annual allowance CME Potential annual incentive opportunities Robust benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage Continuing education support Malpractice insurance with guaranteed tail coverage Paid time off Federal and state loan forgiveness programs available Lifestyle Information and Commute – The Bronx, New York Living and working in the Bronx provides access to everything the New York City metropolitan area has to offer, including extensive public transportation and world-class cultural amenities.The Bronx is widely recognized as the birthplace of hip-hop and remains one of the most culturally vibrant boroughs in New York City.
