Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist
to join our team of professionals, focusing on providing targeted
and rigorous rehabilitation services. Our goal is to facilitate the
recovery and independence of our patients post-surgery, injury, or
illness. This position requires expertise in diagnosing, managing,
and treating speech, voice, communication, and swallowing
disorders. As a specialist in your field, you will create tailored
treatment plans based on individual patient needs and collaborate
interprofessionally to ensure holistic care. Evaluate patient
speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
abilities. Develop and implement tailor-made treatment plans that
meet individual patient needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care.
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Advise and educate family members and caregivers on patient care
strategies. Maintain patient confidentiality and records according
to regulations. Strong understanding of speech disorders and
treatment methodologies. Ability to develop and follow through with
individualized care plans. High level of empathy, patience, and
communication skills. Capacity to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA).
