Job Description A strong community health system in New York City is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join their team. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1 Saturday or Sunday per month Hours: 9am-5pm, one later night per week Setting: outpatient Patient population: all ages Responsibilities: Supervise all clinical providers and monitor the practice and on-site programs to ensure the organization's goals, quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training programs, and research initiatives are being met Maintain a clinical practice at the assigned site and meeting all responsibilities of an attending physician Demonstrate an understanding of health care systems and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve and optimize health care Precept residents, medical students, and other health professional trainees as appropriate Qualifications: License to practice medicine in New York Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine Interest in community health and working with diverse populations Previous leadership experience preferred
