excellent work–life balance. ? Position Highlights Manageable 5–10
patient census each night—focus on quality, not volume
Well-supported admissions from ED and referring providers 24/7
intensivist consultant support for ICU cases No daytime rounding
required—dedicated nocturnist role Collaborative culture with
nursing, specialists, case management, and ancillary teams Fully
integrated Paragon EMR for smooth documentation Participate in
interdisciplinary rounds, handoffs, and quality initiatives
Contribute to a supportive learning environment for residents or
APPs Strong organizational commitment to safety, quality, and
physician development Responsibilities Provide comprehensive
inpatient care for all assigned nighttime patients Perform detailed
admissions, histories, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
Manage acute medical issues, including those in the open ICU
Coordinate safe and effective discharge and care-transition plans
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation Uphold hospital
policies, medical staff guidelines, and regulatory standards
Participate in department meetings, training, and CME Deliver
professional and compassionate communication with patients,
families, and care teams Qualifications Board Certified or Board
Eligible in Internal Medicine Active NY medical license or
willingness to obtain DEA certification Clean malpractice and
license history 1 year of hospitalist/nocturnist experience
preferred Not accepting Locums, 1099 providers Compensation &
Benefits Guaranteed base salary: $325,000 annually $15,000 starting
