Job Description Internal Medicine Physician Location: Long Island, NY Compensation: $300,000–$500,000 annually Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible Hours | No Call Practice Type: 100% Outpatient Practice Overview A well-established, physician-led medical group with multiple locations across Long Island is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing outpatient practice. Position Summary The Internal Medicine Physician will serve as a core clinical provider delivering comprehensive, high-quality primary care to an adult patient population. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients Conduct detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and care plans Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR system Collaborate with specialists, referring providers, and interdisciplinary care teams Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NYS Department of Health, CMS, and payer guidelines Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement efforts Build and manage a patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Active New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills Patient-centered, team-oriented approach to care Comfort with EMR systems and value-based care models preferred Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growing and managing a patient panel Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive compensation: $300,000–$500,000 annually Flexible weekday schedule with no call responsibilities Comprehensive benefits package Strong clinical and administrative support infrastructure Opportunities for leadership, program development, and innovative care initiatives Long-term growth potential within a physician-led organization
