Job Description:
Fantastic OB/GYN Opportunity – Waterbury, Connecticut We are
seeking a BE or BC OB/GYN physician to join our thriving practice
in Waterbury, CT. Our group includes four physicians and one
midwife, with weekend cross-coverage provided by other local
groups. This is a very busy practice, so a new OB/GYN would start
with a full patient panel, providing a balanced mix of obstetrics
and gynecology. Responsibilities: Provide medical care related to
pregnancy and the female reproductive system Examine patients and
obtain medical histories Screen for breast, cervical, and ovarian
cancers Deliver babies vaginally or via cesarean section Treat
urinary tract and pelvic disorders, hormonal disorders, and
sexually transmitted diseases Order, perform, and interpret
diagnostic tests Create treatment plans and initiate appropriate
referrals to specialists and hospital programs Ensure timely,
accurate, and complete patient documentation Collaborate with
Practice Management to ensure proper billing and coding compliance
Promote wellness and health education Robotic training is a plus,
but not required Participate in on-call coverage with other OB/GYN
providers Provide quality supervision of Medical Assistants (MAs),
Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and other
clinical staff at the site This position comes with generous
