Locums APP - No Call-New York An immediate need for a locum tenens Nurse Practitioner in New York, offering a highly sought-after Monday-Friday schedule Practice Setting Outpatient Medical Setting focusing on preventative health and primary care Work alongside an on-site MD and dedicated support staff of RNs and MAs Typical patient volume is manageable at 12-15 patients per day Patient ages 2 and up, with the population primarily comprised of adults Schedule Monday-Friday daytime shift-based schedule Guaranteed 7.5 daily clinical hours with a protected 30 minute lunch break This is an Interim Assignment that can extend beyond the initial 90-day contract Procedures and Cases Perform physical examinations and preventative health measures Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify patient problems Prescribe medications or recommend treatments like physical or inhalation therapy Refers patients to the Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources Requirements Minimum three years of clinical experience as an NP or PA Credentialing Requirements Fast-Track Credentialing in only 7 days with a TB test and full drug screen1 Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical providers is required Top Reasons to Choose a Locum Tenens Assignment Choose assignments based on your preferred locations, accommodating personal preferences or opportunities for family visits and exploration.
