Job Description:
We are on the hunt for someone experienced in both menu creation
and kitchen staff management to join our talented team. In this
position, your principal goal will be to help edit existing menus,
plan new menus, and manage staff accordingly. You will be
responsible for the creation of company procedure as it relates to
food preparation and presentation, staffing of both existing
locations, as well as helping us create and implement new ideas.
Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our
efficiency, presentation, and growth. This is an excellent
opportunity for someone looking to grow with a company and push
given limits. Primary responsibilities: Available for work at least
6 days per week. Available and willing to travel to locations as
needed. Hire, train, and oversee new kitchen staff. Create
inventory management system to better track incoming and outgoing
items. Work with us to create new menus. Analyze current menus and
plan for improvements. Create and implement a uniform process for
each menu item. Design a recipe book for training purposes. Oversee
cleanliness of all areas of food prep. Work on new ways to present
food in a more appealing manner. Suggest addons that may improve
items such as sauces, condiments, etc. Research new fads and
determine possible profit. Create, implement, and oversee new
kitchen procedures as needed. Continuously work to improve overall
presentation and efficiency. Obtain ServSafe food safety
certification within 90 days. Prepare and disseminate information
to appropriate employees. Requirements: High school diploma or
equivalent qualification. Certificate in Culinary Arts or related
field is advantageous. A minimum of 4 years' experience in a
similar role. In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and
cooking methods. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Aptitude for multi-tasking. Must be able to work cooperatively and
efficiently in a team. Must also be able to take initiative and use
creative thinking to problem-solve. Experience with menu/item
