A well-known restaurant group is looking for a talented Executive Chef to join their team in Queens, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary individual to join an upbeat team of service-oriented individuals. This location will be a brand new restaurant, set to open in June of 2021!
Responsibilities:

• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring variety and quality of the servings.
• Control the food preparation process and organize all kitchen activities.
• Order equipment or ingredients according to shortages.
• Look for ways to reduce spoilage of infrequently used items.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Track emerging trends within the restaurant and wine & spirits industries.
  Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years' of proven experience as an Executive Chef.
  • Degree in culinary science or related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong passion for the art of food design.
  • Knowledgeable of food planning and preparation.
  • Exceptional kitchen management skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.
