We are looking for a Line/Prep Cook to join our growing business
who is reliable, hardworking, flexible, and most importantly, kind
and respectful. We work hard as a team, but we have a lot of fun in
our shop. Job duties include the following: Prepare all foods as
directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Follow recipes and plate
presentation specifications, Operate standard kitchen equipment
saftey and efficiently. Clean and maintain station in practicing
good safety and sanitation. Assist with the cleaning and
organization of kitchen and equipment, restock items as needed
throughout the shift. Adhere to all sanitation and food production
codeS. Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food for service (i.e.: chopping vegetables, butchering
meat, or preparing sauces). Cook menu items in cooperation with the
rest of the kitchen staff. Answer, report and follow chef's
instructions. Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
Stock inventory appropriately. Ensure that food comes out
simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Comply
with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and
customers. Requirements Proven cooking experience, including
experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook. Excellent
understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment,
and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiar with industry's best practices. Employment Type: Full Time
Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $12 - $16 Hourly
