Job DescriptionLOCATION: New York, NYHOURS: Full-time requiring
evenings, weekends & holidaysCOMPENSATION: $16/hr ABOUT THE
POSITIONLyric Theatre is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and
driven individuals to join our highly skilled Front of House team
for its new production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The ideal
candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, hold a
passion and flair behind the bar in order to drive sales and beat
targets, embody the company vision and values and possess a desire
to achieve the very highest standards in all their work. Our
Bartenders are essential to the successful running of our main
theatre bars and exclusive VIP lounge. PEOPLE, PLACES, and
THINGS
- The Lyric Theatre is residence to Harry Potter and the Cursed
Child on Broadway
- Lyric Theatre Bartenders are part of the FOH team and
contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Bartenders deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring
public safety for all attending patrons
- Bartenders are responsible for prepping and selling
beverages/cocktails, handling cash and credit card payments,
restocking and nightly inventory reporting
- COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment EXPERIENCE
and SKILLS
- Prior bartending experience in a restaurant and/or theatre
environment is required
- Good interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Possess a positive attitude and be flexible, friendly and
courteous with patrons and fellow staff members
- Hold an active TIPs certification or must be willing to take
the course
- Valid food handler certification is preferred but not required

Must abide by and have working knowledge of the Local 306
