Our client is a multidisciplinary architectural practice celebrating more than seventy-five years as one of New York's more prolific and enduring architectural firms. Their highly respected architects work closely with both developers and not-for-profit organizations who rely on quality and consistency in completing architectural work. In New York alone they have directly participated in more development than any other architectural firm, and their projects have helped reshape every borough since their founding in 1941.



Projects include luxury condominiums, low-rise buildings, tall towers, buildings with traditional approaches and those pushing the boundaries of modernism, hospitals, hotels, religious institutions, schools, housing for the formerly homeless, affordable housing, senior housing, and renovation and rehabilitation projects.

Description:

Immediate need for Intermediate and Senior-level Architects. Designers are sought to prepare overall architectural designs, renderings, and construction documents.



Job Requirements:

• 
  
• Minimum of 3 + years of experience in architectural design at similar firms with similar projects
  
• Proven experience with commercial, residential, hospitals and hotel projects
  
• Excellent CAD abilities with AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
  
• MUST have knowledge of applicable codes such as NYC Zoning regulations, Building codes, as well as handicap accessibility rules.
  
• Must have a design-oriented approach to architecture
  
• Experience preparing exterior fac -ade design and documentation
  
• Must be self-motivated and possess a commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication in a variety of media
  
  Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school of Architecture
