**Nursing Home Concierge****Job Description****Nursing Home Concierge****Mills Pond Nursing and Rehabilitation** is looking to hire a **Concierge** for our Skilled Nursing Facility in St. James, NY.**This is a Full-Time position but must work weekends**The ideal candidate will have an energetic personality!**DUTIES:*** Meet the needs of our residents and their families by:* Checking ID bands of residents as needed* Apply resident names to rooms, check that resident names are on doors and assist with room changes* Keep inventory of resident belongings* Meet and greet new admissions upon arrival, check that rooms are prepared for new admissions and escort new admissions to appropriate rooms* Assess meal requests and needs during meal pass* Hand out food trays during meal pass* Answer call bells as needed* Communicate resident needs to interdisciplinary team* Order items for residents as needed/requested by resident and families* Assess needs of residents pertaining to resident comfort* Assist in transporting residents to appropriate locations* Put together welcome baskets* Cover reception as needed**REQUIREMENTS:*** Fluency of the English language* High School Diploma or equivalent* Ability to lift minimum of 10lbs* Extensive standing for extended periods of time* Pass the NYS criminal history checkMills Pond Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a state-of-the-art facility providing long term and short term stay with dedicated quality care.
