Rosetta Bakery is all about the quality of the ingredients and the highest standard in terms of production.Rosetta Bakery is looking for a motivated Pastry/Bakery Chef to join our team! The ideal candidate will have the following experience:* Prepare different breads, including doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.* Have demonstrated the ability to operate convection ovens, stand mixers, and commercial kitchen equipment.* Review the production to understand the variety of baked goods to be produced daily. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.* Maintain kitchen food safety program compliance. Keep Chef informed of excess food items.* Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.* Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.* Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.* Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.* Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.This position's hours of work and days vary based on business needs and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Employee development is as important as customer satisfaction.
