Job Description:
New West Village restaurant Libertine seeks professional,
hard-working and capable Line Cooks to join the team.
Libertine is a new French bistro opening in May of 2023 on an
historic corner of the West Village. Serving updated riffs on
traditional and forgotten regional French dishes alongside natural
wine and producer-driven cocktails, Libertine aims to celebrate
local Northeastern American agriculture through a distinctly
Francophilic lens.
Ideal candidates:
-have great passion for cooking and hospitality
-are strong in communication, organizational and problem solving
skills
-possess a positive and collaborative attitude
-are reliable team players
-are always ready for a challenge and to constantly learn and
improve
-have experience with traditional French cooking techniques and
sauce making
In this position, under the direction of the Sous Chef and
Chef/Partner, you will be responsible for a station within the
kitchen. You will adhere to the standard operating procedures for
food quality and aid in keeping the kitchen compliant with the
regulatory requirements for food handling, sanitation and
