Job Description:

As a retail supervisor at Hani's Bakery + Caf--, you will manage a team of retail specialists to ensure consistently exceptional customer experiences and the best work environment and experience for all employees. You will also oversee the inventory and stocking of products, adhere to the opening and closing procedures, and maintain the overall appearance of the FOH space.

The job expectations:

• Cultivate excellent hospitality in a welcoming environment for all our guests, both for in-store and digital orders, ensuring that their experience leaves them raving both during and after their visit or order.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of the beverage, food, retail items, and kitchen stations.
• Maintain excellence and cleanliness of the store, ensuring that appropriate physical inventory is always available to employees and guests during the service cycle.
• Continuously support all bakery staff and actively participate in the service cycle. When necessary, hold employees you supervise accountable to all standards and practices. Lean on the management team for support.
• Ensure DOH compliance as it pertains to the FOH operation.
• Provides feedback and guidance with excellence and hospitality in mind.
• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with all teams throughout the day and during service.
• Maintain an orderly and neat work area, displaying calm professionalism to promote food quality and reduce waste. Follow all recipes, portioning, proper storage, and FIFO to minimize waste.What we need from you:
  
  • 2+ years as a Manager or Supervisor, ideally in a similar retail environment.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs of weight
  • Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
  • Expected to work approximately 40 hours a week
  • Excellent food and beverage knowledge
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • English fluency and Spanish are preferred What you'll get from us:
