Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Director supports our retail and corporate
employee population.
This position has a heavy focus on Recruitment, On-boarding and
Employee Relations.
This position reports to the CEO and the President.
Main Duties & Responsibilities include: - Manage the full
recruitment cycle and on-boarding process for corporate and retail
positions; - Handle employee relations issues, including on-going
coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, career development,
etc.; - Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and
non-mandatory training; - Manage the administration of employee
benefits; plan and deliver company-wide benefits information such
as for annual open enrollment, on-boarding, and internal meetings
to announce or discuss updates to benefit plans; - Perform other
duties as assigned
Education and Experience: - Bachelor degree, plus a minimum of 2+
years of relevant work experience;
Desired Competencies: - Proven capacity to build and manage strong,
effective working relationship with both management and staff
employees; - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; -
Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills -
demonstrated capacity to effectively handle employee relations
issues - Flexibility and ability to respond quickly to changing
organizational and employee needs; - Ability to act with integrity,
professionalism, and confidentiality; - Thorough knowledge of
employment-related laws and regulations; - High degree of
proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; -
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Physical Requirements: - Ability to travel to retail locations as
needed
