Job Title: Senior Trainer/Organizational Development Specialist - Talent, Development and Learning
DescriptionThe Senior Trainer/Organizational Development Specialist provides solutions to drive organization effectiveness. The Senior Trainer/Organizational Development Specialist provides consulting and engages with leaders and individuals at all levels of the organization in both strategic and tactical ways to support initiatives around engagement, patient experience and culture change.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with management on talent related strategies and initiatives
  • Provides coaching for high-performing/high potential leaders across the organization
  • Becomes familiar with clients priorities and leverages an array of assessment tools and processes to determine needs impacting goals
  • Manages and delivers programs by becoming grounded in materials, facilitating sessions, discussions and action plans
  • Assisting leaders using organization perspectives and methods to execute strategies, improve operations and performance, and optimize roles and responsibilities
  • Involved in the implementation of strategy, business initiatives, and organizational and cultural changes for leadership alignment, stakeholder and employee engagement, large scale program design, organization performance and communications
  • Build the OD capabilities of others including providing practical guidance on methodology, tools, and implementation in areas such as organization assessments, process re-engineering, and change management.
  • Develop options for organizing work and people through structure, roles, processes, governance practices and culture to optimize business performance
  • Leverage and synthesize data from various sources in order to recommend solutions for the organization and teams.
  • Continually invest in self-development and the evolution of the function by remaining current with new developments, technologies, industry trends and innovations.
  • Utilize project management skills and direct/indirect leadership skills to facilitate team projects
  • Manage multiple simultaneous work streams
  • Regularly engage with management to inform status on projects and progress
  • Work on special projects and presentations as required
  • Interface with varying levels of management and individual contributors
    RequirementsEducation Requirements
    • Bachelor degree required. Masters preferred.Experience Requirements
      • Five (5) years of relevant experience
      • Understanding of O.D. theory and application, with the ability to adapt traditional approaches to meet stakeholder needs
      • Demonstrates strong business acumen and a track record of success in partnering with business leaders
      • Strong analytical, diagnostic, consulting and problem solving skills; a demonstrated high degree of initiative and creativity is required
