Job Description:

Our client, a leading entertainment and media company, is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team in New York, NY!
*** This begins as a 5-month contract position with the opportunity to be extended/converted***
This position starts remote but will be transitioning into the office this year
Responsibilities:

• Process workflows for employee lifecycle data changes including new hires/terminations, transfers, promotions, and timekeeper actions
• Process new hires in SAP and complete I-9 background verifications
• Act as a liaison with several HR departments, including Payroll, Finance and Benefits, to manage and resolve day to day employee issues
• Ensure organizational charts are updated regularly
• Assist in creation and maintenance of job descriptions for open positions
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to create roles in SAP and post open jobs
• Partner with departmental coordinators to ensure equipment setup is complete for all new employees
• Provide administrative HR support, including preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports and sending employee communications
• Assist with planning for the return to workplace processes
• Track and run workforce analytics projects
  Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with HRIS Systems and Applicant Tracking systems (ex: SAP and Brassring)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Preferred candidate to be in the New York area
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to balance and easily shift priorities
  • Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of accomplishing tasks and delivering results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong customer-service orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups
  • Prior media/television industry experience preferred
