Job Description:
Job Description NYC based non profit seeks a HR Assistant to
work onsite. This HR role will be responsible for all new hire
processing, benefits enrollments, terminations and more. This is a
temporary position with the potential to become permanent. Salary
is $24/hr onsite Mon - Fri full-time hours. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully process all new hires, including offer letter
generation/delivery, payroll setup, and timely review, processing
and recordkeeping of required compliance documentation (e.g.
applications, background check authorization forms, I-9
information, other regulatory materials, and forms). Provide
complete overview of employee benefits including health, dental and
vision to new employees during on-boarding and open enrollment
periods. Provide ongoing employee communications during orientation
and throughout the employee life cycle. Oversee consistent
adherence to regulatory and internal policies. Back-up role for
selected HR Compliance tasks and responsibilities Participate in
open enrollment information sessions, responding to staff questions
within 24 hours Respond and follow-up on all Benefit Hotline and
Email box inquiries QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor---s Degree with one or
more years HR or recruiting experience required Excellent
communication and organizational skills required. Proven ability in
managing customer service requests in timely, accurate and
professional manner. Confident user of Microsoft Office
applications Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Company
