you. Come join us!What we're looking for:A forward thinking,
detailed oriented Human Resources Manager who will report to the
Vice President of Human Resources and support the HR team in their
end-to-end responsibilities: workforce planning, employee
escalations, organizational design, performance management,
payroll, total rewards, and administrative compliance. This
individual will need to be ready to roll up their sleeves, tackling
HR responsibilities as an independent contributor, while also
working collaboratively with the HR Specialist and Internal
Recruiters. The HR Manager will work cross-functionally with the
Compliance and People teams to ensure that the entire employee
lifecycle is managed in a compliant way, while structuring
opportunities for employees to learn and grow. As a member of the
HR team, the HR Manager will serve as a safe space for employee
successes, failures, questions, and concerns as they navigate Forge
Health.What you'll be doing:
- Manage onboarding policies, procedures, and compliance and
partner with VP of Human Resources and hiring managers on hiring
best practices.
- Standardize and automate the onboarding and offboarding
process, conduct exit interviews, and summarize themes for employee
experience improvements.
- Interface with people tools and systems (HRIS) and help roll
out new tools and initiatives as we grow.
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with team
members to serve as a trusted people resource and stakeholder
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local
employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices;
review and modify policies and procedures to maintain
compliance
- Address all payroll, tax, and benefit questions that are
brought to light by other teams throughout the organization
- Provide day to day support for HR solutions and facilitate
escalation to Associates and Managers as needed
- Ensure that all employee escalations are addressed in a timely
and compliant fashion
- Implement new HR technologies that drive efficiency across the
HR team
- Audit department practices to ensure that managers are acting
in accordance with HR policies
- Liaise between the Compliance and People teams to identify
opportunities for organizational improvement, employee retention,
and employee satisfactionHow we define success:
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent in experience
- PHR or SPHR Certification is preferred
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual
English proficiency
- Understanding of national, state, and local employment
laws
- Experience working with both in-house and third-party payroll
and benefit teams
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening
skills, with a natural, consultative style
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability
to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environmentWhy
