An ADP Client, The Behavioral Insights Team
is actively seeking a Head of Human Resources to oversee their HR operations in
the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.About The
Behavioral Insights Team (BIT):The Behavioral Insights Team (BIT) is a
global leader in using behavioral science research to design services,
policies, and interventions that improve people's lives. Established by the UK
Government in 2010, BIT is the original "Nudge Unit." Today, they are a social
purpose consulting firm with over 250 employees and offices around the world. Their expert team partners with all levels of
government, nonprofits, and the private sector to reach their goals across a
wide range of areas-from health and education to sustainability. They design
complex interventions, run mixed-methods evaluations, develop and inform
policy, and help organizations build their capacity to use behavioral science
and evidence.About the Role:Reporting to
the Head of Operations, BIT Americas, the Head of HR will lead the Behavioral
Insights Team's People function by working closely with the leadership team and
managers in coaching and optimizing all of their people-related efforts. This
role will have one direct report under them in the Americas, with the
additional support and collaboration of Global HR in other locations.Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:*
Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices,
and regulatory changes in HR and employment law in the US, Mexico, and Canada
and applying this to internal policies and processes*
Partnering with and coaching business leaders to
ensure timely support and advice in key areas such as people development,
career progression, reward and recognition, advice on recruitment, performance
management approaches*
Developing and executing innovative recruitment
efforts to foster a diverse candidate pipeline*
Refining
and managing systems that allow us to measure staff performance*
Administering
benefits + wellness plans, and HR metrics tracking*
Being
knowledgeable about the contexts and cultures of three countries in which BIT
Americas operates (the US, Mexico, and Canada)*
Collaborating
with HR colleagues based in EMEA and Asia Pacific as part of a global HR team*
Maintaining
strong relationships with our PEO and vendors*
Answering
ad hoc questions from employees about pay and benefitsIdeal Candidate:*
Ideally around 10 years of experience in HR,
recruiting or employee lifecycle/people operations*
Previous proven experience leading an HR
department is a plus*
Active listener & trusted communicator*

Bilingual in English in Spanish is a major plus
but not required*
