Job Description:

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist will use their broad knowledge of human resources functions to support the daily on-site operations of the Human Resources Department which are aligned with the company's business objectives. The Human Resources Department is involved in meeting HR administrative needs, talent acquisition, enforcing policy and procedures, training, employee relations & wellness, company culture initiatives, and other HR duties as necessary or assigned.

The Human Resources Generalist will use their business acumen and professionalism to maintain a fair, safe, and positive working environment that is conducive to employee success and supports employee betterment on a professional, personal, and community level. They will also be privy to sensitive, proprietary, and/or confidential information, and must practice strict discretion with this knowledge.

Requirements

Overview, includes but not limited to:

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or related Human Resources field
• Experience with talent acquisition (i.e. recruiting, hiring, onboarding/orientation, and trainings)
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Experience with employee relations and employee well being initiatives
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) or Bachelor of Science in Human Resources, Business administration, or relevant field
• Additional HR training or certification will be a plus
