Job Description:
Full-time Description Position Summary We are seeking a
knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support a
wide range of HR functions, including employee relations,
compliance, onboarding, performance management, and benefits
administration. This role will serve as a key partner to managers
and employees, ensuring HR practices align with company policies
and applicable employment laws. Duties a) Reviews, tracks, and
documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training,
continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety
training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and
certifications. b) Conducts or acquires background checks and
employee eligibility verifications. c) Completes new hire
orientation as to the company as well as benefits orientation. d)
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human
resource programs including but not limited to compensation,
benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and
investigations; performance and talent management; productivity,
recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and
training and development. e) Handles employment-related inquiries
from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex
and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. f) Attends and
participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and
investigations. g) Maintains compliance with federal, state, and
local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best
practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
h) Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory
changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent
management, and employment law. i) Maintains and completes all
tasks in HRIS systems j) Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration, or related field required HR certification
preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) Experience 2–5 years of experience
in a Human Resources role Experience handling employee relations,
onboarding, and HR compliance Experience with HRIS systems (e.g.,
Paylocity, ADP, Workday) preferred Skills & Competencies Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle
confidential information with discretion Conflict resolution and
problem-solving abilities Strong organizational and time management
skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work
independently and in a fast-paced environment
